Properties

 White monoclinic, prismatic crystals or granular powder. When heated above 300℃ it evolves spontaneously inflammable phosphine Soluble in water, slightly soluble in glycerol. Insoluble in alcohol. The aqueous solutions are slightly red. Incompatible with oxidizers.
